Quaalude = quiet + aa + interlude
Trademark used for the drug methaqualone
From Dictionary.com
The trademark Quaalude for the sedative and hypnotic agent methaqualone is an example of how a product name is carefully chosen for a positive public response. Methaqualone was developed in the 1960s by William H. Rorer, Inc. At that time, the company’s best-known product was Maalox, a digestive aid that derived its name from its ingredients, magnesium and aluminum hydroxides. To enhance the product recognition of their new sedative drug, the company incorporated the aa of Maalox into the name Quaalude. The other elements of the name are presumed to be a contraction of the phrase quiet interlude, a soothing, even poetic description of the drug’s effect.

Fauxtester = faux + protester
A person paid to protest for someone else, with no real interest in the subject of the protest
Yvonne Battle-Felton, “Baltimore picketers protest unfair wages,” The SOP (Dec. 16, 2005)
Schuttler is in the business of picketing for worker’s rights. His line represents the Area Standards Picket Line at construction sites around the city. He said all of the picketers are paid and represent the Mid Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters. He also added that they are not required to be construction workers.
Tim Carlton…said it was obvious the picketers were not construction workers. [] “I recognize most of them, especially the one that looks like she’s two days younger than God[,]” Carlton said. “You can’t tell me she’s out there doing construction. They are a bunch of homeless people that they hire.”

“[V]oluntourism is a worthy pursuit, and interest in it appears to be growing. [Sheryl] Kayne’s book ["Volunteer Vacations Across America" (Countryman Press)] does a fine job of detailing more than 200 service/travel opportunities, including rescuing loggerhead turtles and learning to surf in North Carolina, reinstating the Mexican gray wolf to its natural habitat while visiting the Grand Canyon (http://www.gcwolfrecovery.org) and biking from coast to coast to raise money for low-income housing in the Bike & Build program (http://www.bikeandbuild.org).”

Chortle = chuckle + snort
To chuckle gleefully
“Chortle” is a well-known and -established portmanteau, coined by Lewis Carroll in Jabberwocky (“‘And, has thou slain the Jabberwock? / Come to my arms, my beamish boy! / O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!’ / He chortled in his joy.”) Yesterday, Jeff Jacoby of the Boston Globe employed the word, scolding the U.S. Congress and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer for neglecting to read the bills they sign onto: “It is no excuse to say that Congress would get much less done if every member took the time to read every bill…. Steny Hoyer chortles at the thought of asking members of Congress to do their job properly. It’s up to voters to wipe the grin off his face.”

Manny = male + nanny
What else is there to say? It’s a dude that changes diapers, cooks, cleans, and sews for hire.
Genevieve Roja, “Manny of the House”, Metro (Jan. 4, 2001)
“At a time when 24-year-olds are claiming early retirement and placing their names on a 2001 Audi S4 waiting list, Damian Irizarry is doing a four-hour round-trip, weekly commute from San Anselmo to Santa Clara. This apparently doesn’t faze him. He loves his job as a male nanny–a “manny” as it is called in the child care industry–and nothing, it seems, is going to detract from his obligation.”
